The room was beautifully decorated. The live rock music was a highlight.

That was what I call perfect base for overnight stay. Everything in this hotel was good: stunning location and welcoming staff. Had breakfast in the bar, it was tasty and sensational, really enjoyed the food choices. Stayed in double room which was perfect for me.

The location of the hotel was marvellous, next to pub. It was also near to the centre of town close to the minster, city walls at the end of the street, and the train station.

The live music events added a vibrant atmosphere to our stay, and the breakfast options were a fantastic way to start the day. noise from the pub downstairs was a bit disruptive late at night, which affected our sleep.

My room was impressively clean, and the location was spot on for exploring the central area. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were super friendly. There's a longstay car park nearby for just £15, quite reasonable.

It was just a fine choice for resting while in York with very nice value for money. The staff were friendly and accommodating, made my stay enjoyable. Be prepared for a quick walk to nearby attractions.

I enjoyed my stay at The Bootham Tavern. The cute staff, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The noise from the pub below disrupted my sleep. Nonetheless, the overall experience was good.

The location is wonderfully central, with good dining options nearby, including a fantastic Nepalese restaurant. The room was cozy with ample furnishings, and the breakfast was a highlight, cooked to order and satisfying. There were issues with hot water, which detracted from the experience, and the amenities felt a bit unnecessary without hot water available.

Fantastic Stay with a Cozy Atmosphere

The room was beautifully designed, clean, and had an excellent shower . The staff were friendly and cute, and the location was perfect for exploring the historic sites of York. I particularly enjoyed the lively pub atmosphere downstairs. My only small critique would be the slightly awkward access arrangements after hours, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.
